Dashboard

Each operation shows:

  • Work Days – Number of active production days in the selected window

  • Total Capacity – Calculated as hours per day × work days

  • Reserved Hours – Capacity allocated to accepted or scheduled work

  • Ordered Hours – Capacity tied to active orders in production

  • Quoted Hours – Capacity temporarily held for open quotes

  • Available Hours – Remaining capacity that can be quoted or scheduled

Color-Coded Capacity Bar

The capacity bar provides an at-a-glance view of utilization:

  • Red – Reserved: Hours committed to scheduled work

  • Blue – Ordered: Hours actively in production

  • Yellow – Quoted: Hours associated with open quotes

  • Green – Available: Remaining capacity

This visual makes it easy to identify bottlenecks or available bandwidth by operation.

Viewing Reserved, Ordered, and Available Hours

Select an operation (for example, Laser, Press Brake, or Tube Bending, etc.) to view all RFQs and orders contributing to its capacity usage. Each entry displays:

  • RFQ or order number

  • Estimated hours

  • Customer name

  • Part count and quantities

  • Quote value

  • Scheduled date range

You can also search by operation or quote number to quickly locate specific work.

Adjusting Schedule Hours & Production Impact

Any changes to quoted hours, accepted orders, or scheduled dates automatically update the dashboard. This ensures:

  • Accurate production planning

  • Better delivery date commitments

  • Immediate visibility into overbooked or underutilized operations

Navigating Between Quote & Orders Tabs

On the RFQ Quotes tab, navigate to the Quote and Orders tabs to switch between pending work and active production. This allows teams to balance future demand against current capacity.

Monitoring Progress Through Production

As quotes move to accepted orders and into production, their associated hours shift across the dashboard—from Quoted to Reserved to Ordered—providing continuous visibility into workload progression.
