Discount Management

The Discount Management section allows vendors to create, manage, and apply promotional discount codes to quotes. Discounts can be time-based, operation-specific, and limited to selected customers.

Discount Dashboard Overview

Navigate to Discount Management to view all existing discounts and promotions.

This page provides a searchable, sortable list of discount codes.

The dashboard displays:

  • Discount Name – Internal name used for identification

  • Discount Code – Code applied to quotes

  • Start Date – When the discount becomes active

  • Expiration Date – When the discount expires

  • Status – Active or inactive

Use the search bar to quickly locate a discount by name or code. Pagination controls allow you to manage longer lists.

Adding a New Discount

To create a new promotion, select Add Discount from the Discount page. The setup process is completed in guided steps.

Step 1: Information

Enter the basic discount details:

  • Discount Name – the internal discount name

  • Discount Code – the code customers will use

  • Start Date – when the discount begins

  • Expiration Date – when the discount ends

  • Discount Type – select Flat Amount or Percentage-based discounts

  • Discount Percentage/Amount – Dollar Amount or Percentage applied to eligible quotes; discounts are applied to the Gross Amount less Material, Hardware, and Outside Processing Operation Costs

  • Operation Threshold (Hours) – Minimum operation hours required for the discount to apply

Step 2: Operation Selection

Select which operations you want to include and exclude in the discount promotion. This will create a filtered list of parts that meet the criteria. Only included operations will be evaluated against the threshold. After dragging and dropping your operations, make sure to select your customers below.

Step 3: Customer Selection

Once parts are filtered by operations, you can select customers you want to receive the promotion. Only the selected customers will be eligible to use the discount code. Click Next Step to continue.

Step 4: Review

Review all discount settings, selected operations, and assigned customers. Confirm accuracy before saving.

Select Save & Notify Customers to continue or Cancel to exit without saving.

Customer Notification

Customers will receive both an email and in-app notification regarding the promotion. The notification with include the discount code and list of eligible parts with an action button to order, an example is below.

Editing an Existing Discount

Select Edit from the Actions column to update an existing discount. From the Update Discount screen, vendors can modify only the discount settings and not the customer/part list.

How Discounts Are Applied

Discounts are automatically applied to eligible quotes when:

  • The quote falls within the active date range

  • The customer is included in the discount

  • The selected operations meet criteria

  • The operation hours have not exceeded the defined threshold

This ensures promotions are applied consistently and according to your pricing strategy.
