When Can I Change Quantity Pricing?

You can manage quantity options in these quote statuses:

  • Under Vendor Review: Adjust quantities in the Modify view.

  • Quote Issued: Adjust quantities in the quote edit view.

How to Manage Quantity Pricing

For Quotes Under Vendor Review

  1. Open the quote you want to update.

  2. Select the Modify option to open the quote in edit mode.

  3. Find the part you want to update.

  4. Add a quantity: Add a new quantity option for the part. You can also add quantity options for newly added parts.

  5. Edit a quantity: Change an existing quantity option.

  6. Remove a quantity: Delete a quantity option you no longer need.

  7. Review the updated pricing. Unit prices and subtotals calculate automatically when instant pricing is available.

  8. Save your changes using the available save action.

For Quotes With a Quote Issued Status

  1. Open the issued quote you want to update.

  2. Open the quote's edit view.

  3. Find the part you want to update.

  4. Add, edit, or remove quantity pricing options as needed.

  5. Review the recalculated prices when instant pricing is available.

  6. Save your changes using the available save action.

Important Things to Know

  • The original quote quantity stays in place. When editing an issued quote, adding other quantity options does not replace the original quote quantity.

  • Pricing updates automatically when instant pricing is available.

  • Quantity options are managed per part. You can offer different quantity scenarios for individual parts on a quote.

  • Review your changes before saving to make sure the available quantity and pricing options are correct.

Offering multiple quantity options helps customers compare order volumes and understand the pricing available for their needs.
