To begin a new RFQ request:
From the Dashboard, click New Part Quote under the Quick Action Tiles.
The Select Vendor screen will appear:
Use the Search Vendor bar to find and select your preferred vendor
Only vendors who are active subscribers and have a relationship with your company will appear
Click Continue with Selected to proceed
You’ll then be redirected to the Create New RFQ form.
Complete all required fields before submitting your request
Create New RFQ Form Fields
Field | Description |
Part Number (1) | Enter your internal or customer part number for identification. |
Revision Level (2) | Specify the current revision level of the part (if applicable). |
Order Quantity (3) | Input the total number of parts you need quoted. |
Preferred Lead Time (in days) (4) | Indicate the number of days you’d like the vendor to deliver the completed order. |
Part Description (5) | Provide a short description of the part and its purpose or features. |
Parts File Upload (6) | Upload engineering drawings, models, or technical files that support the quote. Files can be dragged and dropped or selected manually. Files are accepted up to a size limit of 5GB per file. |
Additional Remarks (7) | Add any extra notes or special requirements (e.g., certifications, packaging requests, or material specifications). |
💡Tip: Include as much information as possible to ensure accurate and timely quotes from vendors. Missing drawings or unclear details can delay the review process.
Once you’ve entered all required information, click Submit RFQ. Your request will automatically move to Awaiting Manager Review and appear in your RFQ list under Quote Orders > RFQs.
